Diane Yohnka Jorstad has practiced law since 1981, concentrating
her practice in the areas of wills, living trusts, related
estate planning, as well as probate and trust administration, real estate law, and elder law.
Since 1985, Diane has been appointed by successive Governors of Illinois to the office of Grundy County Public Guardian and Administrator. She is a member of the Grundy County Elder Abuse-Multi-Disciplinary Committee. Diane is also a member of the Grundy County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the National Academy and Illinois Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
A firm believer in giving back to the community, Diane has served on the Boards
of Directors of the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce, and the Morris Hospital,
including serving as its Chairman.
Diane is a Morris native. She graduated from Morris Community High School in 1974 and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois in 1978 and her law degree from the University of Illinois Law School in 1981. She returned to practice law in Morris in 1984. Diane is married to Steve Jorstad,
who farms in the area and is an insurance broker specializing in farm related
insurance. Steve and Diane have two sons in college.
